2025 MABioN Biosafety Symposium
Join us at the 21st Annual MABioN Biosafety Hybrid Symposium!
August 4-6, 2025 at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH.
Network with biosafety professionals in the Midwest area and learn and share information about biosafety. Attend in-person or remotely!
- Monday morning – Pre-symposium course on biological shipping and USDA shared permit accounts, with heavy focus on Export Control
- Monday noon to Tuesday evening – Scientific and biosafety talks
- Wednesday morning – Facility tours
We are currently seeking abstracts for scientific program presentations. The goal is to present a wide array of information that would be of interest to our membership. You DO NOT need to be a member to present at the symposium and this would be a good opportunity to present at a regional ABSA affiliate. Presenters have the option to present in person or virtually! Biosafety presentations at ABSA affiliate meetings may be eligible for CM points!
To submit an abstract and/or register for the conference, go to the MABioN Symposium Event page and click on “Submit Abstract”.
Then click on “Registration” to register for the symposium and click on “Submission” to submit an abstract.
On both pages, “Save Form” will submit the forms.
Dates to remember:
- Friday June 20 – Abstract submission deadline
- Friday June 27 – Early bird registration deadline: $50 for pre-symposium; $100 for symposium
- Friday July 4 – Reserve your hotel room by July 4 to get conference pricing
- Monday July 21 – Deadline for in-person registration: $75 for pre-symposium; $150 for symposium
- Monday July 28 – Deadline for virtual registration: $75 for pre-symposium; $150 for symposium
